1. General
The website https://caffemedic.com is operated by Caffe Medic, a company providing coffee machine servicing and repair.
This privacy policy sets out the rules for processing personal data and the use of cookies by the website.
2. Personal data

When you contact us by phone, WhatsApp or email, personal data (e.g. phone number, name, fault description) is processed solely to handle your enquiry (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
The “Book a repair” form does not send or store any data on our server. It only prepares a message that you send yourself via WhatsApp. WhatsApp Ireland Ltd. is responsible for data processing within WhatsApp.
The website is hosted by IONOS SE (Germany). The server may store technical data (e.g. IP address, date and time of the visit) in log files to ensure the security and operation of the website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Data is not passed on to other third parties unless required by law or resulting from the Google services described below.
3. Cookies
The website uses cookies solely to:
- ensure the website works properly – storing your cookie choice (cookie “cm_consent”, valid for 6 months),
- analyse traffic statistically with Google Analytics – only with your consent.
On your first visit we show a banner where you can accept or reject statistics cookies. You can change or withdraw your decision at any time via the “Cookie settings” link in the footer. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing before the withdrawal.
You can also disable cookies in your browser at any time.
4. Google Analytics
With your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) we use Google Analytics 4, a service of Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.
Google Analytics sets cookies (_ga, _ga_*) and collects information about how the website is used, e.g. pages visited, time on site, approximate location (country, city) and device and browser type.
Google Analytics 4 does not store full IP addresses. Advertising features and Google Signals are disabled. Data may be transferred to Google LLC in the USA on the basis of the European Commission’s adequacy decision (EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework).
Data is kept in Google Analytics for 2 months. Google Analytics cookies expire after 2 years at the latest, or earlier if you withdraw your consent.

5. Google Maps
The directions map (Google Maps, Google Ireland Limited) only loads after you click “Show map” or have given consent in the cookie settings (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). Only then does Google receive data (including your IP address) and may set cookies.

The website may contain links to other websites (e.g. Google Maps, WhatsApp).
Caffe Medic is not responsible for the privacy policies of other websites.
7. Your rights
You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection, as well as the right to withdraw consent at any time.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Polish data protection authority (Prezes Urzędu Ochrony Danych Osobowych, PUODO).
8. Changes to this policy
Caffe Medic reserves the right to change this policy.
